You are beautiful. You are smart. You are funny. Never let anyone make you feel like you are less than that. I don’t care if you’re black, white, blue-eyed, brown-eyed, blonde, brunette, bald, a size 0, or a size 16. I don’t care if you have hair that can never be tamed, freckles that cover your face, perfectly straight hair or a curly mess. I don’t care if you have the whitest teeth in the world or teeth that never got the braces they needed. Whatever it is you hate about yourself, someone will love you for it. Whatever imperfections you have, you are beautiful and someone will see that. In fact, I bet more than one person will see that. Because beauty really is based on opinion. And if everyone can have a different opinion on cars or politics or sports or religion or anything else in the world, why isn’t your beauty one of those things?
Life is a beautiful thing, and you’re too young to let all of that go now. One day, you’re going to land that job. You’re going to get that guy/girl. You’re going to fall in love. You’re going to be truly happy. You’re going to have a real smile on your face. I can’t promise it’ll be soon, and I can’t tell you when it’ll happen, but it will happen if you want it to. If you have no motivation, no inspiration, how can you expect to get things? They won’t just be handed to you. None of these things will be, nor will self confidence or self worth. These things can be helped by other’s opinions, but, ultimately? It comes from you, it comes from within. Smile, keep your head up, and know that someone out there loves you and values your life. Someone, if not more than one person, wants to you alive and wants you to know just how beautiful you are. Give them some time to find you, you can’t expect them to just know where you are, right?
Laugh when something’s funny, breathe when things get tough, cry when you need to, and remember that you’re always beautiful. Because you’re reading this, you’re breathing, you’re living. Isn’t that something to be amazed by in itself? You, you’re a human being on this planet. You have the power and the opportunity to be something brilliant, because you are brilliant. You’re a living person in this world, now go get out there and live.
